INSIGHTS FROM THE GREATER BODY OF CHRIST:
No one has the market cornered on what the Lord is saying or doing right now. But lots of folks see and hear something, if only a glimpse of what God is doing ("for now we see through a glass darkly" 1 Corinthians 13:12). Often what they share we have already sensed but have yet to put it into words. God has dispersed these people throughout the Body of Christ (and in our own fellowship) to encourage us, increase our faith and to give us spiritual insight into the times we live in and God's unfolding plan. They come from every denomination, sometimes even from outside the church looking in. We ought to be able to read what they say and test it by the Word and the Spirit. Believing we are the only guardians of what the Lord has revealed or is doing is the height of pride. We should receive what God has shown others if it has the breath of God on it and is aligns with the Bible, even if they're from a different stream of Christianity. And we ought to consider their words, even if they're prophetic in nature. Paul put it this way: "Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast to what is good." 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21. Good advice.
Read with the mind of Christ and with a discerning heart. Ask God for greater understanding, then chew on the meat and spit out the bones. Be challenged and blessed all at once.

This article is spiritually provocative. LHF is not endorsing all 100 points or any one in particular, but offers it as a jump off point to dive into a healthy discussion on the subject. Responses, rebuttals and respectful debate are welcome).

E-THOUGHTS* FOR THE E-KKLESIA:
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' IF THEY PERSECUTED ME, THEY WILL PERSECUTE YOU ALSO. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me." John 15: 18-22
Jesus knows that through the adversity of belonging to Christ, something profound is being forged between us and Him, and also among us as His chosen people. There's a reason the Word says that "God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:29. It’s the way He imparts His life to us, transforms us, and makes us take stock of what we believe.
Long ago, God said it this way through the prophet Ezekiel (36:26): "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
To paraphrase the commercial, the question has always been, “What’s in your heart?”
